Resolution  amount of detail (or data) stored for an image  
PPI  pixels per inch  
Monitors  are low resolution devices, most display 72 PPI  
DPI  Dots Per Inch  
Aspect Ratio  relationship of an object’s width to its height  
pixelation  each pixel in the image must cover a larger space on the screen (blurry ~ distorted)  
Vector graphics  created from mathematical formulas used to define lines, shapes and curves.
